jkoljo / Kausi 2013 / Peugeot TKR initial NOS testing
So, I wanted to test the effects of NOS with a very small NOS flow, so that if something weird happens, it does not make the engine seize.
Things I learned:
1. Overall the system works reliably. No failures in fuel or NOS delivery
2. With the current jetting the power increase is quite conservative. I would estimate something around 2-4 HP.
3. The engine does not seem to heat up any more with NOS, actually quite the opposite, the temperatures were a bit lower than usual after a long run.
Sometimes you can hear the NOS system being deactivated after a run, and only after deactivating NOS I release the throttle. Keep your ears open ;)
Next time I will be using +15 HP NOS jetting, which should give a really nice power increase. If it does not make the engine blow.
